Biographical .
Aristotle was born in Stagira (Macedonia) hence its nickname, the Aristotle's son Nicomachus and Faestis.
His father was the doctor of the royal court of Macedonia, by the fact that Aristotle was very much tied to the Macedonian royal during his lifetime. He was a pupil of Plato and later teacher of Alexander the Great.
